Mtwara Town

Mtwara is a capital town of Mtwara Region, southeastern Tanzania. It is located at around 10°16′0″S, 40°10′60″E.
Mtwara was to have been the export facility for the disastrous Tanganyika groundnut scheme, but was deserted when the scheme was abandoned in 1951.

    Thanks for your advises; but the accident was caused by the truck stupid driver who wanted to overtake a front car in a corner. Sometime you better stick to the realities rather than rely on told stories. I lost my sister on that eccident and I have been following the whole traffic case.

    Beware! The bus conductors are very rude and arrogant. As of today 3/2/2014. they harassed me and any resistance was quashed with threats of beatings. This happened at mbagala stage, the inspector concerned with the blue bus. I would advise all be cautious as time will tell. Again, the charges are exorbitant but due to the speed with which it travels. Normally, it is supposed to arrive at Mtwara at 3.30pm but it reports at 2pm always. Mheshimiwa do you instruct this ignoring safety keeping in mind one of your buses killed the dear driver who ignores traffic rules? Observe your crew and serve us diligently. Your concerned citizen.
